About Our Minister, Davidson Loehr, Ph.D.
From the pulpit, Dr. Loehr will move you from laughter to tears, and to deeper places within your soul and world. His intelligent, pointed and inspirational sermons speak to those who seek spiritual refreshment and want to take themselves and life more seriously.
His academic credentials include a doctoral degree from the University of Chicago in theology, philosophy of religion and philosophy of science, a master's degree from the same university in methods for studying religions, and a bachelor's degree in music theory from the University of Michigan.
Dr. Loehr is a regular contributor to the Austin American-Statesman and represents our church at activities and events sponsored by the Austin Area Interreligious Ministries.
