Understanding that ASD children often have a short attention span, our symbols are designed with simplicity, clarity and humour, making them interesting to look at. Our symbols are new and unique!

The world is confusing to an autistic child, they need routine, continuity and a predictable world. This is not always possible at home, at school or on the move. Young autistic children, like all young children, are very responsive to pictures so giving them a picture sequence of events helps them enormously.

Autism - Out & About believe that symbols for children should always be FUN so that the child will enjoy looking at them and relating to them!
