Description
So I decided to see who the root company of those pages was. It turns out that oingo.com redirects to appliedsemantics.com.
However, Applied Semantics, according to their site, has just been acquired by Google. This then leads to Google AdSense for Domains.
So apparently Google is now in the business of allowing “domain name registrars and large domain name holders to unlock the value in their parked page inventory.” So much for contributing to the internet and being non-evil.
