Axela.com studies protein interactions for research & diagnostic purposes
Title
Axela Biosensors
Description
Excerpted from the website:
- Axela Biosensors provides protein detection, characterization and monitoring products used in life science, health and clinical research. Our proprietary Diffractive Optics Technology (dot™), is based on research techniques initially developed at the University of Toronto and is a novel, patented combination of two robust, well-understood technologies: grating-based light diffraction and immobilized capture surfaces. This unique combination produces a simple, highly sensitive, cost-effective platform for measuring protein levels and characterizing their interactions in real-time without labels. This capability makes the dotLab System the only protein-characterization platform that can be used at each stage of the assay development process, removing many of the obstacles associated with traditional end-point multiplex analysis. It allows researchers to rapidly move biomarker discoveries through the reagent qualification and assay development process into routine use.
