AZA is a non-profit organization exempt from federal income tax under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions to AZA are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
Founded in 1924, the American Association of Zoological Parks and Aquariums, now known as the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA), is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the advancement of zoos and aquariums in the areas of conservation, education, science, and recreation.
