Doug Shields has been actively involved in the transportation industry for well over a decade. His first experience in trucking was as a driver for A. Joseph Transport out of Jackson, MS. Since then he has been involved in many other aspects of trucking including managing a full service truck center offering tires and related services as well as working directly for manufacturers such as Volvo Trucks of North America.
For the past six years Doug has been actively engaged in the sale of used trucks. His is a solution based sales approach. His philosophy: “If I don’t solve a problem then I haven’t earned my paycheck. My clients come to me with problems and it is up to me to offer viable real world solutions to help them and their families prosper.”
Doug now works for Rush Peterbilt GMC Hino, the Peterbilt franchised dealer for the state of Arizona. He works as a salesman in their used truck department on the corner of 27th Avenue and McDowell Rd in Phoenix. Doug welcomes your inquiries about equipment and anything else truck related. He brings to the table his “power team” including truck finance advisers, insurance experts, accounting experts dealing specifically with the trucking industry, and interstate/intrastate authority experts.
