I am a professional web designer, interface developer, and application programmer (ASP.NET), currently employed as the Design Manager for Match.com
I have been a big advocate of standards based development, specializing in markup practices that contribute to using validated XHTML and CSS. This effort has led to faster development times, more flexibility in the creative process, and better efficiency in server resource usages. I have been developing sites using table-less design and interface devcelopment since 2002. I was one of the very first approved participants in CSS Zen Garden project, created by Dave Shea.
A little history
I began my career in web development with just the basics, using Yahoo!/Geocities WYSIWYG editor and the cheesiest of graphics and animated gifs. My love for web development has grown to become an integral part of my life, hence BEWB. I started web development strictly as a hobby, I wanted to put some pictures online of my soon-to-be daughter for my family to see. As I learned more about the web and the potential to unleash creative energy as well as logical coding practice, I was hooked. My hobby turned to passion and then to career.
