- The concept for BACKtoGOLF originated in 1991 with H.J. "Bud" Ferrante, PT, OCS, and Tom Nix, Class A PGA Teaching Professional. At that time, Bud was in partnership with Richard Jackson, PT, OCS, at Ferrante and Jackson Physical Therapy in Fresno, CA. and he modeled BACKtoGOLF after the performance programs that they had developed.
