Soon they expanded their line to include glass-lined containers and home canning jars. The gas boom prompted the brothers Ball, Edmund, Frank, George, Lucius and William, to move to Muncie, Indiana. Gas was essential for glass manufacture. Several glass units were soon acquired. In this way Ball moved on without looking back.
