Our nursery was designed and built especially for pre-school children. Our pupils move on to many of the primary schools in the area and close contact is maintained with them in order to ensure that this is a smooth transition for the children to make.
Our school was opened and is financed by the North Eastern Education and Library Board. The teachers are professionally trained and have qualified nursery assistants working alongside them.
We recognise parents and carers as the children's first educators and would encourage you to become involved initially during settling your child into the nursery and then throughout you child's time at nursery. It is a very special time for everyone involved and one which will be bursting with fond memories. We aim to build a trusting relationship with the parents in order to create a nursery in which your child and you can feel secure and at home! The nursery staff soon become aware of each individual child's development and share this knowledge with the parents.
