- Banana Bob's was started after Bob Ozasky baked and gave away so many breads to sick friends and people with needs, that someone finally suggested he sell it. One night, to his wife, he jokingly referred to himself as Banana Bob. His wife laughed and replied, "Why not?" and so the buisness was born. Banana Bob then developed and copyrighted his own recipe.
