Description
The Bannockburn Group of Riding for the Disabled Association Incorporating Carriage Driving was formed in 1994, and is located at the Sauchieburn Centre within the scenic Sauchie Estate, near Bannockburn, Stirling.
We provide classes for all abilities involving both riding and stable manager, and following a merger with the Fintry Driving Group, we can now offer lessons in carriage driving for those whose disability precludes riding. This has been further increased by the merger with the Ruthven Driving Group.
In addition, we run riding clubs for both adults and children (both disabled and able bodies) where these are only available to volunteers at the centre and not the general public. Where possible, our riders are encouraged to compete in local and national competitions.
