Banyan Builders has been remodeling homes under the guidance of Eric Sjoberg in San Diego, California since 1987. The company is engaged in construction of high quality residential room additions and remodeling to homes in the San Diego area. We offer turnkey services that bring a high level of quality and integrity in craftsmanship, customer relations, and management. Utilizing the latest in technology where appropriate, and old-school craftsmanship when that is called for, we offer services in historical renovation, design consultation, additions, and remodeling of kitchens and baths. Banyan Builders management has two top level managers with combined experience of over 50 years.
The founder of Banyan Builders, Eric Sjoberg, is the son of a well known Hawaii architect, John Sjoberg, who was one of Frank Lloyd Wright’s apprentices. He grew up remodeling homes with his father in the 1970's, worked in construction as a carpenter through college, and later as a superintendent on residential and commercial projects. He started his construction company in 1987, and began doing remodeling of restaurants, offices, homes, kitchens and baths. This has since grown into projects primarily consisting of major renovations, restorations of historical homes, and additions.
