- Barbara Wood was born in Alabama and makes her home there today working as a freelance photographer. In 1992, after graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, she went to work for the state of Alabama. Throughout her life she has always had an interest in the arts, returning to school in 2001 to take courses in the arts. Her love for photography blossomed with the advent of digital photography. After purchasing her first digital camera, she was hooked.
