This little blog began in December, 2004 when Basil discovered that he enjoyed reading blogs so much, he wanted to have a blog, too. Much like a kid who enjoys baseball wants to pitch in the World Series, or a youth who enjoys football wants to play in the Super Bowl. The difference is, there are no tryouts for having a blog.
In a short period of time, this little blog received notice from IMAO because of Headline News. That's been a regular feature of this little blog ever since.
The thing most surprising to Basil is the rise through TTLB Ecosystem. Basil, and many on the left, don't understand it. But long ago, we quit trying to figure it out and have decided to just enjoy the ride while it lasts.
