Batanesinteractive.net, the official website of Batanes, is maintained and operated by the Ivatan Foundation for Development Communications, Incorporated, a non-government organization based in the capital town of Basco, province of Batanes. Batanes Interactive has a Board of Management, composed of a representative from the following offices/agencies :
Batanes Interactive aims to provide an online source of information, news and stories about Batanes and the Ivatans and for anyone who loves Batanes and its people. Its interactive features provide avenues for the discussion and exchange of information, ideas, views, insights and concerns affecting the lives of Ivatan communities all over the world. This website also aims to generate support for government programs and all other activities geared towards the upliftment and improvement of the welfare of the Ivatan.
It also aims to provide pertinent features and tools that would help preserve Ivatan identity and values and the Ivatan spirit of unity, cooperation and love and concern for one another.
