Bay Area Barns and Trails :: Welcome
Description
The Bay Area Barns and Trails Trust (BABTT) helps preserve the equestrian heritage in the ‘Great Outdoors of the San Francisco Bay Area’ by providing financial support and technical assistance to equestrian coalitions - public and private landowners, land and trail trusts, and non-profit organizations - working cooperatively to preserve and maintain publicly accessible barns, stables, pastures, staging areas, horse camps, and trails throughout Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Mateo, San Francisco, Santa Clara, Solano, and Sonoma Counties.
The Bay Area Barns and Trails Trust was incorporated as a California non-profit corporation in November 1999 and in March 2004 was confirmed by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501©(3) tax-exempt public charity: Tax I. D. # 68-0442986.
Bay Area Barns and Trails is an all-volunteer non-profit organization. Administrative, development and communications expenses are underwritten by the Board of Directors and the Advisory Board.
