About Our School
We are a specialist technology college and community comprehensive in Lowestoft - the eastern-most point of the British Isles. We have recently become one of only a few specialist colleges to gain a second specialism and are now also a specialist Vocational College.
Benjamin Britten High school has built its own traditions of care, stability and success which come together in a desire to develop individual talent and to engage with the needs of the future. The school has excellent modern facilities, and this coupled with high standards of tuition and the support of the Government through the Specialist schools initiative allows us to work for consistent development of our students. The school’s measurable results show constant improvement. We work to realise the potential of each individual and to make a difference to the present and future life of the town.
We like to think that Benjamin Britten, the town’s most famous son, would have been proud to see his name associated with our endeavours.
