Description
The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (established in 1895) is a non-governmental public organization that supports, promotes, and represents the interests of its members, and makes for the development of the international economic cooperation. It is based on the principles of voluntary membership, autonomy and self-financing. BCCI aims at establishing of ethic business relations. For the purpose, it has adopted:
Council of Presidents of Sectorial Organizations functions within BCCI. It was established on 14 January 1999. The building up and active work of this structure assist the state institutions-business dialogue and provides balance of the sectorial organizations' interests on the main issues related to the establishment of favourable climate for development of the Bulgarian business. It has 69 member-organizations.
