The BC Premier League is considered to be the model for all baseball organizations nationwide to follow. As a Major League scout I can count on this league producing some of the finest baseball talent aged 16-18 in Canada each year. The stability of the league and consistency in all of its 12 franchises help achieve this. Each club, every year, has players that move onto the college and professional level. Quality coaching throughout the league that stresses the development of fundamental skills is one of the main reasons why.

Baseball is healthy in British Columbia, a large part of that due to the long hours, hard work and high standards set by the dedicated people involved with this league."
