- Welcome to “Be a Green Mom”, a website designed to assist all of us who want to understand the facts about Green living, and want to do what is best for the health of our families and the environment. We’re not going to sell our homes and move to Utah to live in a yurt. But we can make more informed choices about what we buy to feed, house, clean and clothe those that depend on us. Armed with knowledge we can have a BIG impact on society — with our intellectual force as well as our economic power as consumers. Let’s sort through the mountains of eco-information together and find ways to make our communities safe, healthy and sustainable so our kids won’t have to ask us “Why didn’t you do anything to save the planet?” Instead, they might actually thank us.
