Our goal is to make a toy that is as safe as possible, yet at the same time affordable. We all know that parrots need a variety of toys to entertain and enrich them. Before purchasing their large bird, some people don't realize just how expensive large toys can be and just how fast the bird will destroy them.
At BEAK BOUTIQUE, we care greatly about the safety of all birds, and we go out of our way to use the safest, most parrot friendly materials that we can find. A lot of research went into selecting our materials before even the first toy was made. The rope we use is unpolished Supreme cotton rope. This is considered safer than regular cotton rope due to the fact that the strands pull apart easily and are less likely to trap a toe. Our quick links are stainless steel. Some of our toys are made with Paulie Rope, which has been tested and praised for its parrot safety, and we use food coloring fit for human consumption to dye all of our wood.
What we consider to be one of the most important aspects of BEAK BOUTIQUE toys is that they are PACKAGED AND SEALED as soon as they are made. This way no one touches your toy except you and your bird. This assures you that our toys are clean and uncontaminated.
