- Beatty, Nevada is a small, unincorporated town located in Nye County. It is located on US Highway 95 at the juntion with Nevada Highway 374 which goes to Death Valley and the ghost city of Rhyolite. Beatty was established in 1904 and has an interesting history. The Beatty Museum also has a lot of historical information. Take a look at Beatty in 1910. I have posted several old pictures of Beatty as well. There's probably about 1,000 citizens at present. There is more history, demographics and weather records at Beatty's Wikipedia page. I have posted Beatty photos online in no particular order. You may also view these photos as a slideshow. When in Beatty check out the railroad mural across from the town clock. If you keep an eye out you might see some of the Beatty Cowboys around town. The Beatty Phone Book is also on this site. This site lists Lodging, Food, Saloons, RV Parks and many other businesses. The Community page lists public facilities and sevices offered in Beatty including Emergency Services .
