Beauty Plus Power is the largest online directory of clothing options for full figured women who wear a size 12 and larger, including plus sizes. Our directory has over 600 unique listings in more than 15 categories, from the most well known chain stores to the most obscure e-tailers.
This site was founded by Lisa Alpern in the summer of 2003 in order to help full figured women like herself find the clothing they want and need in their size. Beauty Plus Power is not just for plus size clothing; many of the sites we list carry clothing for women who wear a straight size 12 or even smaller. We picked our main size range (12-24) because of the overwhelming number of women in this country who wear those sizes.
Beauty Plus Power also features monthly plus size fashion editorials, a fashion blog, scoop on sales and much more. In 2007,we released our first calendar "LUSCIOUS - Women With Curves" featuring plus size models. Beauty Plus Power has been featured in Entrepreneur Magazine, BUST Magazine, Washington Woman, The Houston Chronicle, Salon.com, Good Morning America and others.
