- Bridal is a family owned and operated business serving brides since 1934!! The staff of Becker's takes pride in serving over 40,000 brides dreams and making every wedding beautiful. Two generations ago Frank and Eva Becker operated a very successful general store in downtown Fowler. In 1934 one of our local residence approached Eva and asked if a wedding dress could be picked out and brought back from Chicago when Eva went on her yearly shopping trip for the general store. Eva concurred and brought the patron a lovely dress. The patron was very pleased. Word spread and the next year another patron asked Eva for the same favor and Eva was tickled to do so. The next buying trip Eva decided to bring 6 gowns back and hang them on a rack so other patrons may have access. From there history was started and eventually Becker's general store turned into a full blown bridal shop. Through hard work, Eva's flair for style, and word of mouth by her many customers the store flourished. Becker's Bridal is now functioning with its third generation of daughters and they are serving the third generation of yesteryears brides.
