Description
Bell City Auto Center, was originally incorporated as Stanley St. Auto Parts in February 1968. Walter and Peter Martyniuk started with 5 cars, an acre and half of land, and 1 employee, Ed Martyniuk who came on full time in 1972. As business grew, a second yard was established at our present location and a name change, Bell City Auto Center, to better reflect our business. In 1979 we built our "new building" which was huge at 6000 square feet on 15 acres of land that we thought we would never fill. In the early 90's, Pete's son's Jeff and Mike came into the business full time after completing college. Presently they have four sons between them that represent our Fourth generation. Currently we now have over 25,000 square feet of offices, garages and warehousing with plans in the future for a large addition. Our yard has increased to 24 acres - and we are full.
Our facility is state of the art with the latest in environmental equipment and procedures, computers, video imaging, internet and equipment. We now have a staff of 32 and growing. Plans are in the works for a new sales and office building. We are processing 2000 plus cars a year which almost all come from insurance companies. Bell City has over 25,000 sq. feet of warehousing and garage including 7 bays. We employ licensed technicians. All vehicles that are purchased for parts are thoroughly checked, tested, inventoried and dismantled by an expert technician. We have the latest systems for fluid extraction and freon recovery. Our staff are well trained in safe environmental practices.
