The Bellingham Marine Group is an association of companies doing work in the marine industry both in the public and private sectors. Bellingham Marine Industries (BMI) is the world leader in the design, manufacture, and construction of marinas and related products and services. BMI has installed more than 14 million square feet of dock systems throughout the United States and the world, including many high profile, landmark projects located in city waterfront centers. Our products and services cover virtually every aspect of the marina industry, from our flagship line of floating moorage systems to dry stack storage systems.
Examples of work performed in the private sector include marina design using site specific precision engineering, dock manufacturing and construction, marketing and installation of handicap access ramps for ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) compliance, and consulting services. In the public sector, many of these same services are available as well as services to assess and assist in the "privatization" of public marinas. The Bellingham Marine Group has also worked for the Navy and the Coast Guard manufacturing and installing floats and access docks for their vessels.
