Bellarmine Jesuit Retreat House, also known as Bellarmine Hall, is located on 80 acres of gently rolling meadows and wooded countryside just 35 miles northwest of Chicago. Bellarmine Hall, the original building, was constructed in 1916 as a private residence. The Chicago Province of the Society of Jesus purchased it in 1946 for use as a retreat house. The original building was expanded in 1956 and again in 2003. Today the retreat house consists of 80 private rooms, some with private baths.
