- I was born in Saskatchewan, in the small fishing village of Pilot Butte . One of my most fond memories, growing up on the shores of Hudson Bay, was waiting for the whalers to make their way into port, while listening to the Flin Flon Bombers hockey broadcasts on CFAR Radio. Since those early days on the frozen tundra I have loved the sound of a crackling radio broadcast. I hope one day to buy a second hand AM transmitter and spend my golden years replaying my favourite hockey broadcasts and England Dan and John Ford Coley songs.
