BEST N.V. or Belgian Electronic Sorting Technology is a worldwide supplier of laser, camera, LED and X-ray sorters to perform color, structural, shape and density sorting. The Argus and LS9000 are optical laser sorters with full color sorting and/or foreign material detection. The Mira is a full surround camera unit able to add laser technology. The Ixus X-ray sorter focus on density like glass and metal detection for both bulk and packages. Designed for a wide range of products like vegetables, fruits, nut either fresh, frozen, raw, blanched, dried or freeze-dried , no calibration, easy to operate and maintain. BEST took over Barco Machine Vision, both divisions Elbicon and Pulsarr in August 2004. Headquarters is situated in Heverlee with the Pulsarr division located in Eindhoven and our US center is located in Centennial, CO.
