The essence of Bet Alef is its meditative approach to Jewish identity, the traditional liturgy, rituals, and text. The liturgy is abbreviated, so greater attention is devoted to contemplation. Guided meditations, as well as chanting, music, song and silence are all part of our worship experience. These elements help us explore the "inner spaces" of Jewish identity and experience, and support our wholeness and our appreciation of the Oneness of Being. Our community is open and accepting of all.
