Welcome to Bethany University! These are, once again, historic times at Bethany! Indeed, these are days of excitement and great expectations!
Our school is the oldest institution of higher education of the Assemblies of God, beginning in 1919 under the vision of Reverend Robert and Mary Craig.
Glad Tidings Bible Institute, as it was known then, became Bethany Bible College, relocating to the mountains of Santa Cruz in 1950, and gaining full accreditation in 1966 through the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
