Betsy began her real estate career in the resort community of Lake Arrowhead California, selling to the entertainment industry from 1988 to 1993. She moved to Maui in February of 1993 and reentered real estate during a slow market as the office and commercial property manager, as well as assistant to the owner of a large upcountry office until she joined Coldwell Banker Island Properties in April 1999.
Betsy is now striking out on her own, having opened Maui Real Estate Professionals on April 27, 2004. As Owner/Realtor/Broker of Maui Real Estate Professionals, she has tripled her sale's production through hard work and a loyal clientele following. Betsy's 2005 Maui Real Estate sale's were just under $33,000,000, propelling Betsy to the #28 spot for the top 100 Realtors on Maui.
As a single mom of two young adults, Betsy's main goal has been to create a healthy and safe environment for her children, balancing a demanding, full-time career with a stable, healthy and joyful home life. Betsy is very proud of her children who are both excellent students, who are moving successfully into the working world. Jennifer, 19, is a full time student at MCC. She obtained her State of Hawaii Real Estate License in March, 2005 to assist Mom while she attends college and works full time at Maui's Premier Oceanfront Restaurant - Mama's Fish House in reservations and hostesssing. Brett, 23, graduated from Purdue in May of 2005 and is now an Ensign in the US Navy stationed on the USS WASP in Norfolk, VA. You can imagine how proud Betsy is of them.
