As a lifelong resident of Austin, Texas, Betty has dedicated her entire legal career to defending the rights of fellow members of my community who have been accused of crimes. She limits her legal practice to criminal law, in which she is Board Certified. As a devoted member of the legal profession, Betty is the past President of the Criminal Law Section of the State Bar of Texas. In 2000, she became the first woman President of the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association.
