Description
Sue Caloghiris (formerly Weeks) is the founder of Bibber International and started the company after spending 14 years in the Australian wine industry, 12 of them at The Australian Wine Research Institute. As former Manager of the Analytical Service Laboratory, Sue has had extensive experience with wine analysis, quality system management, method development and troubleshooting.
For eight years Sue served as Chairperson and Public Officer of the Interwinery Analysis Group, an Australian based international wine proficiency testing organization. She writes a regular column for Practical Winery and Vineyard, a US based wine industry journal and the Australian and New Zealand Wine Industry Journal. Both columns deal with good laboratory practice and quality issues.
She is a member of the Australian Society of Viticulture and Oenology, the American Society of Enology and Viticulture, and the American Organization of Analytical Chemistry (AOAC).
