I was born in 1928 the youngest of ten children. I am the product of the Christian School System in Grand Rapids, Michigan and a life-long member of the Christian Reformed Church. I graduated from Calvin College in 1951 and from Calvin Seminary in 1954.
In 1952 I married Betty Ann DeYoung of Muskegon and we are blessed with three boys and three girls. We rejoice in the fact that all have married Christian spouses and we have twelve grandchildren.
I served as pastor in the Atwood, Michigan; Eastmanville, Michigan; Portage, Michigan and Evergreen Park, Illinois Christian Reformed Churches. I have been retired from active ministry since 1993.
