The company was founded in the mid 1980's and in the late 1990's developed a specialty in skin care products for the indoor tanning industry. It also became an innovator in sunless tanning products, particularly spray tanning solutions for applications with airbrush or booth technology. Biddiscombe is family owned and operated. The company was formerly known as Biddiscombe Laboratories.
