The webcam is located in France, more precisely in the department of the Charente-Maritime, in the South-west of Paris, on the "Place des Grands Près" in Aytré. The small coastal city of Aytré, on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean to 5 kilometers south of La Rochelle, nears of "île de Ré", "Oléron" and of Fort Boyard, a population of almost 8,000 inhabitants. The city is bordered, in southwest by 3.5 kilometers of coast and a sand beach, which borders "Anse de Godechaud", At Aytré you can practise many water sports, such the windsurfing or kyte-surfing.
