This project has appeared in response of my personal needs and evolved with the help of many scientists which provided (and still do) valuable feedback to better suit TAXIS to their needs. There is currently no external funding so this project is not dependant on any grants or sponsors.

My current position in Metapopulation Research Group provides incredible opportunity to develop necessary research skills and adequate knowledge in the fields of taxonomy, population biology and information technology.

As I have been long time interested in biology AND computer science, TAXIS has allowed me to express myself in both disciplines while benefiting the scientific community (including amateurs), especially biology students.
