BioInteractions was awarded the highly coveted Queen's Award for Enterprise, in 2002, the Queen's Golden Jubilee. The award was given in the Innovation Category for the company's biocompatible coating TRILLIUM™ Biopassive Surface. This is licensed to Medtronic, Inc for the application to the blood contacting surfaces of their cardiopulmonary by-pass products.
