Bitesize Training Ltd was born out of work done on European Union training projects.There are many reasons why it is time to consider computer-based training with the massive processing power of modern PCs. Training packages are now available for a wide range of subjects from an even wider range of organisations. Work done by Bitesize with individual trainers indicates that there are excellent quality training materials being used in industry by presenters in a conventional style of classroom delivery.
Using video compression techniques, Bitesize captures these trainer-led materials for electronic delivery via CD, website or company intranet. Training can be delivered at any time using a PC and Internet Explorer. This process is excellent for building and testing knowledge using short focussed training sessions that allow the student to choose the time and place for study, and using multiple- choice assessment questions, to be confident they can perform well in more formal assessment examinations.
This means that a student's knowledge can be increased and tested, allowing the trainer to know what stage the student has reached, which can make the trainer's job more effective than walking into a training room without knowing each student's level of knowledge.
