BizSox was founded in September 2004 by two Swiss French expatriates living in Singapore since 2000. It all started one day when one of them found himself desperate for new socks. He had gotten carried away by the hectic activity in the city-state and had put off his sock shopping again and again, to the point where his socks had become a real embarrassment.
