The power of the promotional product (ie ad specialty, giveaway, branded gear, tschotke, etc) is so underrated. It's unfortunate because branded merchandise is quite possibly the most powerful advertising tool of them all. The problem with the poor underappreciated promo product is 'perception'. There are just too many people out there selling 'The Factory Special of the Week' - regardless of it's fit within the brand or campaign message.
