- This blog is an extension of my interest in green technology and sustainable design. I’m a research freak and I hope to one day build my own sustainable home. This blog is the place I will document all the useful tidbits I come across. A big focus for me will be affordable and practical sustainability. I am always disappointed to see that most sustainable homes seem to be built by millionaires in southern California. What about a middle class family in the far less ideal northern climates with nasty overcast winters and shorter days. To me thats useful info and I’m going to dig it up.
