My uncle bought an Apple Lisa (you know, the $10,000 tank), but finding it both frustrating and useless, he decided to give it to my family. I thought it was amazing. I would spend hours playing with LisaDraw, LisaCalc, and traversing the "Profile" (a 20MB hard drive that was as heavy as a bowling ball). Some years later, my father bought for me a Performa 638CD, back in a time when "CD" was worth mentioning.
