Born and raised in Western Canada, Mark and Melanie share the desire and love of the Canadian outdoors. They have spent their lives hiking, camping and mountain biking in t he outdoors of western Canada. Both Mark and Melanie guide some of the tours as well as manage Blue Moose Tours Inc. Mark is an ACMG (Association of Canadian Mountain Guides) certified Day Hiking guide , MPHIA Professional Interpreter and Wilderness First Responder.
Mark and Melanie have also traveled extensively through Fiji, Australia, New Zealand, Africa, South Korea, Belize, Guatemala, Thailand, Canada and the United States. The concept for Blue Moose Tours came from their travels through Africa on an overland Safari tour from Capetown, South Africa to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. Blue Moose Tours Inc. is about providing a true local experience of Alberta and Albertans to our guests .
