Since 1992, Blue Pacific Flavors & Fragrances, Inc., has been engaged in the sale of flavors to the Pacific Rim and North and South America. These sales activities have been directed by its founder and president, Donald F. Wilkes, who has been in the industry for over 25 years. Mr. Wilkes literally grew up in the industry, working first in his family's flavor company and then building up his own successful company, which he sold to a company listed on the London Stock Exchange.
In the summer of 1993, Blue Pacific opened its West Coast manufacturing facility and technical research and development center in Irwindale, California.
In 1994, the company established an East Coast manufacturing facility in East Hampton, Connecticut. Blue Pacific's proprietary coffee and tea extracts and Naturessence ™ products are produced at this location.
