Mark has had 2 bone marrow transplants and 3 peripheral blood stem cell transplants over the past 14 years to treat his multiple myeloma. He now claims the unofficial title of The World’s Most Transplanted Person.
Shortly after Mark was diagnosed in 1991, Mary Grace went in to be tested as a platelet donor. Her blood test revealed she had leukemia (CLL).
