The Brook Report first began in January of 2009 in time for the local Mayoral election. It was called the Bolingbrookmayor.com. It was run by a independent party group looking for a local news source that would fairly cover the local elections. It was also a reference site to inform residents about local findings and information. Since then, the site has taken off and adapted to the needs of the residents.
