- In other exciting news, I am in the market for a trash compactor since the current system I was using is now broken. I had a pull out drawer thingie that housed my garbage can. Shortly after I moved in, one of the wheels broke off but it was still functional. Then about a week ago, the other wheel broke off. The garbage can is still in there but it is hard to pull open the drawer. And there is some space at the top so now the flies have found an opening to get to my garbage and they are having the feast of a lifetime! I’m not down with the flies so I need to do something! I think a trash compactor would be a good addition to the home. I’ve seen it in some of my neighbors houses so that’s my plan. I want one of those Viking ones with the charcoal filter but of course, they don’t make it in the size I need. So I’m still looking around for an attractive, high-end, trash compactor so those pesky flies will be forced to find a new home. I don’t have time to be running around here in a g-string with my hair in curlers, swinging a hot pink fly swatter. Now there’s a photoshoot idea!!
